To all clubs,
Given the extreme weather conditions that the wider Hunter Region is experiencing, the Joint Zones Management have decided to postpone all Round 4 games in Interdistrict and Miniroos football.
The safety of our members is paramount and the avoidance of unnecessary travel in difficult conditions is something that all should observe.
We have members in the Upper Hunter and on the Peninsula experiencing extreme flood events, homes isolated or at risk of evacuation orders. All would agree that safety overrides football. Across the region, as the weather event starts to clear, we hope that your grounds have time to recover.
This postponement applies to Interdistrict and Miniroos fixtures only.
Round 4 games will be allocated to the Wet Weather weekend 11-14 July 2025.
Zone Football League Clubs will be communicated to separately.
We appreciate the disrupted start to the regular season, we are hopeful of clearer skies and quick drying in the coming weeks.

Joanne Davies, General Manager, Macquarie Football
Chris Brain, General Manager, Newcastle Football
