Oliver Davidson - 20 years at the Panthers

In 2026 Oliver Davidson played his 20th season with Warners Bay FC. Commencing in 2005 for Under 6's, Ollie has played every season since - with the exception of one COVID cancelled season. He now features regularly in the Zone League One First Grade squad. We wish Ollie all the best for the future and thank him for choosing to stay at the Panthers.

Memo from Joint Zones regarding Weather Event

    To all clubs,

Given the extreme weather conditions that the wider Hunter Region is experiencing, the Joint Zones Management have decided to postpone all Round 4 games in Interdistrict and Miniroos football.

The safety of our members is paramount and the avoidance of unnecessary travel in difficult conditions is something that all should observe.

We have members in the Upper Hunter and on the Peninsula experiencing extreme flood events, homes isolated or at risk of evacuation orders. All would agree that safety overrides football. Across the region, as the weather event starts to clear, we hope that your grounds have time to recover.

This postponement applies to Interdistrict and Miniroos fixtures only.

Round 4 games will be allocated to the Wet Weather weekend 11-14 July 2025.

Zone Football League Clubs will be communicated to separately.

We appreciate the disrupted start to the regular season, we are hopeful of clearer skies and quick drying in the coming weeks.

Joanne Davies, General Manager, Macquarie Football

    Reminder: Training Allocations

    Picture
    Hi all Coaches and Managers,
I've been contacted by the President of the Warners Bay AFL Club at Feighan Oval, Warners Bay. It's come to my attention that a young team is currently training there.
Please be aware that until training slots are officially allocated, our only approved training venues are Lakelands Oval and Hillsborough Oval.
Crucially: Players and coaches are not covered by insurance if training takes place anywhere other than these designated locations, unless prior approval has been explicitly granted. Training at Feighan Oval has not been approved.
Let's ensure we respect other sporting codes and maintain good relationships. We wouldn't want AFL teams using our John St. grounds without permission.
    Thanks for your cooperation.
    Nathan Aurisch
    President
